Overall, I would say it was worth the investment and has been a solid reliable guitar for many years.I would def. Sperzel locking tuners and Wilkinson are nice and no flaws in the plating.May have gone with the tuneommatic in retrospect but I bought mine from my teacher and he used the trem a lot for metal. Pickups and electronics.Not too shabby.I took the bright cap off the volume pot and had a PAF style nickel cover Tonerider HB put in the bridge.But the Carvin C22 bridge HB's are very similar to what I chose aftermarket for the bridge one.Neck pickup, I left it because it was very clear and articulate(I think it was the M22 or something in mine). The 20' is standard on the Holdsworth guitars and isnt listed for others on their. Finish/fit.Mine has a quilt maple top with greenburst and it is imppecable and deeply figured/well finished.No complaints at all.Looks great and the grain is highlighted by the greenburst. Standard is 12' but you can ask for 10', 14', or 20' as an 80 upgrade. Neck-Very comfy profile.Not a boat neck but not super skinny like an Ibanez Wizard profile o kinny either.I would say a nice, medium profile.Easy to hit chords and also nice for upper register leads(up to the 24 fret even!).ΔΆ. My limited experience consists of about one week with a Carvin Nomad (essentially the same amp as Rancid's Belair) that I just bought used (There are a couple of threads related to my questions about it in this forum).
